I still cant understand if they made it corny to mimic 1980:s movies or if that was an accident. The special effects have a wide range of quality also like different special effects teams made them some where 1980:s style and some where made to look modern.

Apparently Patty Jenkins had complete control this time with very little input from the studio. This is on her. The Rogue Squadron movie's gonna suck.

The mall used in the film is Landmark Mall. It is just a short drive away for me. It is a HUGE dead mall. The film makers had to spend quite a LOT of money cleaning it up for shooting. The mall in this movie is now to be torn down and a huge hospital built in its place.

This movie was just really cringe, and they made the 80s look like the worst decade ever, which it really isn't, they just overdid it. And there were lots of questions I had, some answered, some not all the way. And I find it contradicting that in the first one she was way older and they were far more strict, but when she's younger here she gets to participate in this horrific obstacle course. And I still don't get why and how Steve came back. And some wind genie guy named maxlord was the main villan in this. And we only really see WWs real arch nemesis towards the end of the film and she gets her ass beat anyway. This was just very bad and cringe. That flight scene and then she started to do that cringe pose sold it for me.

I watched WW84 this past weekend. The first 60 minutes were bearable. Just bearable. The last hour and a half was unbearable and overall preposterous. The movie has next to nothing to do with 1984. This Wonder Woman is aloof and longs for a man who died 60 years ago. She has no lover, no friends, no family, and a boring job. She has great powers but hasn't used them to help others in any great way for 60 years. How has it taken 60 years to realize she could fly/glide on wind? Her lasso is computer generated too much. And it can do anything and every thing. Her costume is ugly. WW of the comics is the ultimate action hero. WW of the movies, not so much. An Amazon marathon, a mall skirmish, an Indiana Jones truck convoy rip-off. Yawn. The Cheetah fights were underwhelming. She's not even named "Cheetah." Max Lord's scenes resembled a TV movie about the life of you-know-who. Max Lord stood uncomfortably close to people and sweated a lot. WW makes small talk with the man she slept with while he was mind controlled. Ick! Lynda Carter's cameo made me long for original WW TV show.

Patty Jenkins is set to direct Rogue Squadron and I’m already calling that movie as shitty.

How the hell is this Maxwell Lord character supposed to have been "inspired by Donald Trump"? He's nothing like Trump in any way at all. This is honestly the worst DCEU film and yes, it’s up against Birds of Prey, Suicide Squad and Justice League (Joss Whedon). To quote an IMDB reviewer: “It has a script so weak that it should be classed as highly vulnerable, a plot that has more holes than my kitchen collander and characters that are about as believable as a career politician. I did love the opening scene but after that it went downhill faster than an illiterate skier passing a ‘Warning! Cliff Ahead!’ sign.”

In no way a memorable movie but not as bad as the review suggested. I found it amusing. It is a naive superhero movie written as if superheroes was still a genre for kids. You don't review that kind of movie as if it was serious. Also, I did not find the movie was overtly woke -- careful that wokeness do not translate into an anti woke obsession.

Probably would have been better to scrap the movie, and restart from the ground up after adjusting to the virus of unspecified origin. The secondary villain in this was clearly Electro in female form.

It really was that bad. It ranks right up there with The Rise Of Skywalker and Dark Phoenix.

It's definitely not a 1 to 1 but there are some things. -He was a rich TV personality who gets to a higher position -He builds a wall... enough said -He ends up in the office of the President -He supplies nukes -He wears business suits all the time -He gets protected by the White House security -He is paranoid enough to believe everyone is conspiring against him or jealous of him -He stands at a podium with "The White House" behind him A lot of this seems like things that he has done or what the the radical Left thinks he's done (or at least how they view him). It may not be his personality or his appearance but there is some correlation there. Buy hey, that's just my observation. Movie sucked buffalo ass either way.

I regreted not watching wonder woman 2017 in cinemas even if i could have,and i now have another regret of watching wonder woman 1984 in cinema,i hope wonder woman 3 is good,maybe the wonder woman 3 will be the best of the 3,maybe this series will be like thor trilogy,like 1st movie is good,2nd is mediocre ,then the third is fresh and exciting. one thing i hope it isint is like the cr superman quadriligy ,where 1st film is good,but the second is really goofy,then the third is cringiest, and the 4th is pure garbage

Regarding that scene where everyone renounced their wishes, I highly doubt certain people would willingly do just that. Examples includes people who wished that their loved ones no longer had cancer, blind folks who wished to see, and people who could barely get by on scraps wishing to not starve anymore.

What is really disturbing is that even with all the complaints on social media saying how horrible this film was, WB is already creating WW3 with Jenkins as Director/Writer, just shows how much attention these studio's pay to their audience, maybe it made more $$$ than it cost?
